how do you keep your radiator and overflow tank from freezing in the winter time? do you know there are fluids out there that have near identical properties to water, but their boiling and freezing points are extremely different.

As for water in the winter...I'm sure they said the same thing about the radiator when that was introduced. What you say is surely a challenge to overcome...if anybody's serious about this thing -- they'll figure it out!
EDIT: Maybe a heat coil in the water tank?

either way, that is a small problem to overcome.
