What's the point of sheeting? I get beading showing hydrophobic properties but when is sheeting every going to matter in a real world application? Water or rain is never going to have that sort of volume in such a short amount of time. So what's the point; is it show how fast water leaves the surface of the vehicle?

Then again I live in the desert, so wax for me is about looks since it's rarely going to come into contact with water.
Sheeting is the only important water characteristic in my opinion.

Beading leads to water spots, sheeting leads to clean car. Which would you rather have?

Beading does look cool though.
