were sold. Those are the cars that came before the Impala SS. They are generic, mundane family sedans. Even the cars from the 60s don't see too special. You are correct in your assumption that most people remember those cars but those were not before the Impala SS. Impala was in SS trim in the 60s. To me these are the most beautiful Impalas ever built.
