You may be right, but the timeline in the article says the smaller truck will be coming 2 years following the new truck. Current thinking has placed the release of the new Colorado in 2014 as a 2015 model. If the new Silverado comes out in 2013 as a 2014 model, then the news we can extrapolate is that the Colorado is coming later than expected.
The REAL big news in the article is how much extra lightening the F-150 is going to cost the manufacturers and be passed on to buyers for no real reason.
