There have been rumors that the development of the 650hp 5.8 was with this car in mind. Until it's confirmed they're just rumors, but it's a real possibility. ZR1 is the king of American cars though and will continue to be until something faster is built. I doubt that challenge will come from Ford first though, it will come from the new Viper. |
The ZR1 is the defacto champion since the Viper is on hiatus. The ACR was top dog, still hasn't been dethrowned.
Very interested to see what comes next for the Viper.
I also doubt seeing Ford getting into that segment.
