I have heard folks say yeah but who wants to see a team that 7-5 win the NC game ? If a Wildcard team in the NFL wins the superbowl then that would be the same situation.

With the mentality of most college football purists the season is pretty much over half way through. We could just skip the NFL playoffs this year because Green Bay is the champs already.
