hell.. it's the same argument as the ss vs the 5.0.. i've seen it both ways, i've raced a 5.0 and won 2/3 races... a missed shift is all it takes.

i own a v8. so i only know so much about the v6.

If you really do go to cecil you would notice most of them run low 15s all day. The low 14sec times come from magazines with professional drivers. Sure people can hit low 14s but I see most run low 15s while the GT will avg low 14s. Which is true. It's not great for a GT in this day of age. But it only takes little mods to make them very fast. A v8 will always respond better to mods then a v6. Even with a tune. Thats just how it is. And you owning a v8 you should know that. I'm sure you got your v8 for the power And larger aftermarket world Same reason I'm getting the GT.
