Kinda seems that way, but if I were Mike McQueary and I actually DID stop the rape, I'd leak something like that too. His dad said he wanted to talk REALLY baddly. I think I'd have followed Sandusky and told that kids mother what happened. Or tried. But I wasn't there so I don't know exactly what was possible.

Now since the town of State College isn't all that big, it wouldn't be a huge surprise to me if the Penn State University Police weren't a subset of the towns police department. Hence not just rent-a-cops.
Actually, from this link:
http://www.police.psu.edu/aboutus/
"The department provides 24-hour patrol services to the campus and University-owned properties year round. The University Police is governed by a state statute that gives our officers the same authority as municipal police officers. "
and bullets 5 and 6 of this link:

The University Police are ARMED and trained officers. The auxiliary officers are akin to "rent-a-cops"
Just clarifying.
Now Drexel University, where I attended school, those guys were the same as mall cops and would call the real police for backup.

Fair enough, but somebody is lying here. The police or the University. And the two University officials were arrested becasue they DIDN'T call the police.
So I doubt the police were ever called. (at least not that incidence) I'll bet McQueary was refering to Schultz when he sayd 'Head of Police'. In which case it's about Paterno, Curly and Schultz.
