A true twin screw is still more efficient than an Eaton, and even that twin screw isn't as efficient as newer turbos. The newest turbos are untouchable in terms of efficiency.

It looks like Ford has adopted the age-old, and too long forgotten, American principal of making the Mustang better every year. To be blunt, this is likely not a strategy GM is currently going to be able to counter effectively, they just don't have the money.
