This sounds like one of those debates of the Camaro being a muscle car or not.
You can't say that CC_Perfomance is wrong. He was there at the time. Apperently the term has been around a lot longer than I thought and has morphed into something different.
If it was a term once used for all Japan made cars then you can't argue that it wasn't. Only that the definition has changed over time. Which I'm guessing is the case. And with no official definition you have to allow that it can be accepted for the guys who remember the original meaning to keep it as such.
