Let me just say right here, I think "The Longhorn Network" was and still is a stupid idea. Now, if the University of Texas System wanted to have a network for all of its sister schools, then I could understand it. Or even if they made a State of Texas network, I could understand that too. But a network focused primarily on just one school? Stupid. And I'm a diehard Longhorn fan.

UT approached the other schools, including A&M, to do a network for all of the TX schools. They declined. A&M also voted FOR unequal revenue sharing. Then UT says ok, we'll try to do a network on our own. They get a huge contract out of it, then A&M cries and whines how it's unfair that UT gets all this money and wants to leave the Big 12. They had a chance to be involved in it and they decided not to. I can't stand listening to all the whiny, jealous A&M fans cry about "big bad UT." My work is filled with those sniveling losers.
