I'm not crazy about antilock brakes either. Yes they've been standard on GM cars for 20 years. But I find the computer calls on them earlier than necessary. GM being conservative toward "safety", I suppose.

Don't take this the wrong way, but man.....I think you may have been born a few decades too late!
I'm 44, and my first car ('71 Olds) didn't even have an HEI distributor, my 2nd ('78 Z28) didn't have a computer (thankfully!), but over the years I've learned to evolve

. Who would have ever thought 20 years ago that we'd be talking about a 550hp+ Camaro that you can run low 12's in the quarter and then drive across the country with the A/C on?
Technology is a great thing!
