Read the cross thread, the way the article is written is very misleading.
The bill has been referred back to TxDot for analysis. Sounds good to a layman, what it really means is the bill has been parked.
Nobody would put a date on when and or if the bill will ever see daylight again. Particularly not in this legislative session and TX legislature only meets ever two years.
