Nope. Salad is great. Just use a non-fat dressing. Eat all the salad you want. If you want to lose it quick and then maintain then you have to do it by barely eating. Some say it isn't healthy but as long as you aren't nutritionaly defficient in any area allready then it will be just fine. You just cna't do it as a lifestyle. To me it is a motivational thing. If I can see results in a short period of time by barely eating then I am motivated to continue. After I lost the weight I had my blood work done. ldl was down from 316 to 220. And the doctor said other than that I seemed fine. It's not easy but if it was we would ALL be at our ideal weight.
