Nah more like selective all-american...just because its american...doesnt mean i need to like it...i dont like the mustang...never did...never will...also dont like the general crowd it attracts. I like to choose companies to buy from if they help improve general image of US made products. GM is not only depending on US sales. I myself am 20...and i grew tired of people my own age comin up to me just because i drove a T/A they had to come up to me and talk shit on how heavy my car was...or how underpowered the car was when they sold it.
Look...if GM doesn't sell as many camaros as they can...it will be put on hiatus again...thats the way it is. In fact the camaro has kinda already been put on a possible future hiatus...seeing how the Zeta is done. Then which plat will they choose for 6th gen? I'm not saying that 2010 is the only year we'll see a camaro made..but what about 2012 or years later. And to offer sympathy and saying that buying a mustang or any other car other than the camaro if your lookin in that price range...it looks like you dont care if the camaro makes it or not.
Whatever...the name of the site is camaro5...not camaroand5othercars...its a place to discuss why the camaro is a better choice...not discuss or defend other cars that might be a better buy, especially when the camaro is being relaunched in these opening years that determine the longevity of the car and possibly GM being able to stabilize itself.
So everyone...keep defending your beloved imports and opposite domestics that helped put GM on capitol hill's doorstep.
Now i can only imagine how many replies i'll get saying that....im ignorant, or I am just lookin for a fight...the fact is i just love my Trans Am and therefore i love GM and hate anything else...and my loyalty will never be broken.
You watch any reviews from overseas on cars made from chrysler or ford...and you'll see that those companies help fuel this global image of american manufacturing of mediocre
