They have in initial quality but haven't heard positive things about quality & dependability.

I would buy a Toyota or Honda over a Hyudai even if it did not have that higher horsepower because Toyota and Honda have built a reputation on quality for years and you still see a vast majority of them on the road dating back to the early 80's. I know what's going to happen, pretty soon Hyundai will be up there and you'll see more of them on the road for much longer. They just haven't got me set on buying one yet.
