I said domestic quality is higher than import quality (a more accurate statement would be equal or higher)...but that's not to say import quality is bad. In fact, it's more of a grudging compliment.
As for the 'lousy company' comment...Toyota, to me, symbolizes everything that's wrong with our market and society. And they're the flag-bearer for the import invasion that's taken place in North American the past 3 decades. Although those reasons are meaningless on the world stage, I still despise them throroughly.
