Why do you say that? I've owned several and have had VERY good results with Toyotas. My current 4Runner has NEVER had a single repair in 7 years. I've not even had to change the brakes or factory tires yet at 75K miles. Just fluid changes and normal maintenance, which I'm very anal about. I've even Supercharged the thing adding 100HP over stock.
Previous Toyotas include 2 Tacoma 4x4 TRD V6s and a 1991 4x4 PU. All of which were reliable beyond belief.
I'm not wanting to start an import vs. support the US debate, just curious why you think Toyota is a lousy company?
