Actually, in my experience most people want a combination of the two, performance and comfort that is, which is why the Corvette attempts to provide some comfort with things like leather, air conditioning, etc.

No, but the fan boy alarms are buzzing. Perhaps you should call Chevrolet and let them know that everybody has it wrong and that nobody cares about comfort at all, which means that they can just design the C7 with a bare aluminum interior with no AC, heat, radio, etc..
I suggest you pull out the Kool Aid i.v. drip.
...and I do so how love how the faithful will defend the extraordinarily sub par steering feel and always not quite sorted dynamics of the Vette by screaming 'subjectivity'. I suppose that, based on subjectivity, somebody actually thinks that the status quo regarding what makes fine food fine is actually wrong and that, a Hardee's cheeseburger, is the pinnacle of fine food and should be served in the finest restaurants.
