2010 V8 Camaro: 16 city/23 highway (estimated)
2010 V6 Camaro: 17 city/27 highway (estimated)
2010 V8 Mustang: 16 city/24 highway
2010 V6 Mustang: 17 city/26 highway
If you are that concerned about fuel economy, why are you even looking at a pony/muscle car to begin with?

because people want to buy something with character, style not a plain.boring economy car
if there was not v6 offered on the Maro, chally or stang there would be no muscle cars at all today
v6 sales make up a lot of sales for muscles/pony cars
