Lexus has always used 2 piston sliders up front....
Their LS400 brakes are quite good and often retofitted into many other cars (4 piston monoblocks..Oh and yeah Lexus brakes don't have weird weights hanging off of them either

The IS still uses single piston cast iron calipers, as does the ES. I believe the GS does as well. Junk.

The LS400 brakes are heavy, ancient cast iron pieces that date back to the 80's, when Toyota first started putting them on their trucks. They are very poorly designed and have a repuation for failing prematurely. Toyota trucks are always in the shop needing new fixed pot calipers.
