So "Mr. Mustang nut", was it really worth paying $55-57,000 for a car that is a paltry 1/2 sec faster than an 11 GT or 10/11 SS?

C&D doesn't think so.

I tell you what, why don't you stop coming to these forums posing as an unbiased Mustang nut (I'm not buying it) and in return we'll stop pointing out how foolish your posts are. Deal?

Seriously, you must have reservations about spending almost 60k for just a Stang, otherwise, you wouldn't be on a 5th Gen Camaro forum in the first place ...

I'd say yes ... built engine from the factory and supercharged gives a lot more options at a bit smaller price tag for more HP ... I'm going to go out on a limb and say the same thing will be said of the Z/28 vs the SS .. the only problem is that GM isn't giving us the fully built engine from the factory ...

There is no doubt that GM and Ford are giving us cars that can perform for a pretty good price with the GT and the SS ... The GT500 can be had for under 50k I'm sure but you also give up some stuff ... Lets see what GM can do .. if they can price the Z/28 for starting at 45k or so, I think it will be the best bargain out of all of them.
