I wouldnt call that a complete OVERHAUL. GM has done this before. I.E. 2000FRC vette - 2001 Z06 - 2002 Z06, 2004 GTO - 2005 GTO. What so hard about GM installing a thinner head gasket and getting New gears and cams ground?? i bet the gears, gaskets, and cams all cost the same for gm to buy. And install time will still be the same in the factories.
so lets compare 2010 Camaro to 2010 Mustang GT, and when 2011 Camaro debuts do this test again
As for deeper pockets on the Modding ability of the car the Rugstain will need the deep pockets. A cam swap in your LS series motor would cost ya what $1800 - 2.5k installed and tuned!! Now go price a couple more bump sticks for the other turd and make sure they r ground to VVT acceptance. I think most of us know that a blower for a camaro or mustang will run ya about the same $$$ (6K-9K). The 2011 GT might aswell have a set of LT's on it already so you might save a little there. And your already at 11.0 SCR on your GT as i stated earlier.
