And like I said, this is the cars first run, that 12.8 could easily be a 12.7 or 12.6 next time around, we don't know yet but the potential is absolutely there. Worst case scenario, we know that the Mustang GT's first 1/4 mile time is better than the best any mainstream auto rag has ever run in a SS, and that the run that achieved that time was conducted on an unprepared surface. In the hands of a great driver this could well be a low 12 second car.
When the dust clears I'm thinking 3 to 4 tenths venue for venue.
