Toyota still believes its nothing to do with the ECM, but from two personal accounts of UA that I've seen online, its the only explanation I see. How else does the gas pedal get sucked down to the floor? Its funny Toyota dismissed the guy that was able to trigger it, but they forget that his argument wasn't that he made a short, but that the ECM doesn't record a fault.

But two Prius(need to find the plural for that, haha) on the news at the same time, I'm beginning to wonder if news broadcasters all over are going to start finding wrecks involving them. We get the point already! Just let Toyota get to work on a fix rather than defending themselves...as long as the fix doesn't involve shims or zip ties.
