I honestly can't see how this is anything but a complete flop. It really is an iPod touch for the handicapped.. no multitasking, no HDMI, no USB, no camera, no flash, a horrendous bezel - it's a freaking iPhone OS for God's sake! How are you going to type on this thing without cradling it in your lap? So it's supposed to be for e-books? Good luck with eye strain reading off of an LCD for hours - this is why other e-book devices use e-ink.
The most laughable thing about the product is that Jobs actually had the arrogance to suggest that netbooks aren't better at anything. Um, actually my netbook can multitask, connect to other devices without retarded adapters, take video with its camera, basically do everything a real computer can do, for HUNDREDS LESS.. and did I mention it can MULTITASK?! My 3 year old BlackBerry can multitask.
This is basically Apple having the audacity to build a worthless product because they know there are a bunch of dumb hipsters that will buy it, nothing more. The Courier would absolutely murder this thing, and it will once it makes it to the market. Why not back a bigger version and call it the MaxiPad? Put a string on it and.. iTampon? That's about as much value I would give it.
