The 08's had markup because they were limited production and had serial number plaques or something. He also said it was Dodge's way of "testing" the car for a year to work out all the bugs. Makes sense to me, but I feel sorry for the suckers that paid over MSRP to be guinea pigs.

At any rate, the Challenger has my attention as well. The salesman commented on how bad the timing of the release is with the market being so depressed. As much as I'd love a Camaro, I may end up with a Challenger if they make me an offer I can't refuse. I just priced one out on Dodge's site and it came to $43K which I think is too much. One thing that definitely got my attention.....LIFETIME POWER TRAIN WARRANTY for the original owner. To be continued.
A buddy of mine just got one it's very nice, he told me they have a 650hp motor that you can get,an up to a 900hp ? Don't know if it's a box you check or a motor that they have in there stable. He knows I'm diehard chevy man so he like to talk sheeet. Camaro worth the wait, stay strong my hugger orange bleeding brothers
