I'm kind of in the same boat. I'm still using it, but trying to use fewer HBS builds. I think it makes me too cautious because it makes me go slow watching for dots. I'm really liking scavenger and sleight of hand so I'm using bling less and I'd rather have a holo site then hbs. I don't think I'll ever stop using HBS on skid row or estate though.
