The M3 is pretty amazing. It's a great car. I have no doubt the M3 would spank the Camaro on a track. And guys who are buying Camaros aren't likely to have M3 money to spend. So there's no point in saying "If you buy the Camaro and put 20k in it, it'll spank the M3. While you may be able to put 20k in mods into a Camaro and get better than M3 performance, there's no point in comparing a stock car to a heavily modded one.
That being said, if the Camaro is as good as indicated, it'll be a much better Value than the M3. That's something worth considering.
And the Challenger's IRS is old. From the Mercedes E-class from a few generations ago or so. The independent suspension in the Camaro has been tuned and tuned and tuned. And perhaps the challenger has an edge because it's made by a luxury car manufacturer, but the Camaro has had lots of tuning and development done. With a manual transmission, I have a feeling the Camaro is going to kick the ass of the dodge. And we've all read the reviews. Like 3 out of 4 of them specifically state that the Camaro makes the dodge feel unrefined.

I have a feeling the 6 speed viper manual vs the gm manual is going to be a very very tight race.
