Yeah, I thought about that afterwards. I suppose a better example would be if her cat was sitting on her car and her neighbor's dog jumped on the hood to chase the cat and left a huge scratch. Blah, blah blah, you get the picture lol.
There is just no reason for them to put there claws out on a smooth metal surface they would not be able to move and cats tend to know when to and not to use the claws.
Judging from the way the print was smudged it looks like she might have misjudged her jump and slid off the car. The scratch is actually on the top of the front quarter panel and goes off to the side a lil bit, as were the prints.

Hahaha, I told you she has good taste. When I originally emailed the pic to my neighbor (who, by the way, I get along really well with) I posted it as a personal ad. I don't have a copy anymore but it included stuff about her enjoying dips in the hot tub and taking long drives in her brand new shiny red sports car. My neighbor got a kick out of it. Wish I still had a copy.
