Prestigious
1. indicative of or conferring prestige: the most prestigious address in town.
2. having a high reputation; honored; esteemed: a prestigious author.
Couldn't find a definition that imposed a time limit.

You completely missed the point. I didn't say that all previously prestigious cars are no longer prestigious. Maybe you should take the time to read an entire post.
Second of all, are you comparing a Rolls Royce to a Dodge?

I sure hope not. A Rolls is a Rolls, it will always be prestigious. Dodge, not so much, it really depends on the car, which in Dodge's case, is just the Viper.
Here's a good example: Is it still prestigious to own an Alfa Romeo made 20 years ago? Alfa Romeo doesn't even exist in the United States anymore, so I think not, but that's just a difference of opinion. No need to get so hyped up about forum posts
