I wouldn't have an issue using wd on a car's paint. Automotive paint can take some nasty acids if you are careful to not let them sit.

Where it says Chrome-lined bore, that is chrome lined barrel. The chrome moly is the actual material the barrel is made of/added...

I'd figure $150-200 into the BCG and CH.
You could look for a complete upper. Those quad rails are pricey...

That's chambered in a different .223 than you want. Some searching proves you could probably use it with 5.56.. but I don't like taking those chances.
