I was having the same problems a couple days ago...

I was having the same problems a couple days ago man, its all practice, once you know where the clutch engages exactly everything will get a lot easier.

On a V6 GENERALLY from my experiences...

Axle Back = 5 crank 2-3 wheel HP
Cat Back = 10-15 crank - 7-8 wheel
Y pipe = 13-20 crank - 8-12 wheel...

If you don't get on it bolt on mods should increase MPG. My old maxima got 28 on the highway stock, after bolt ons at like 55-65 MPG I achieved up to 35 MPG.
