If your just shipping tires(not rims), look into greyhound. Putting the tires on a greyhound was the cheapest option last time I did it by quite a lot of money.

Had the groan bad, took it in and got the fluid changed. Groan stopped.

Now the groan comes back very slightly in really cold weather. Nothing like it used to be though.

Do you get some kind of financial reimbursement from your job for miles/gas? 100k miles is a crap ton of gas. A hybrid or econobox would save you 6k-7k$ a year in gas money.
