My 2012 2SS/RS LS3 Custom

| The Camaro I own is a 2012 2SS with the RS package. LS3 6.2L, being the LS3 option and not the L99 it is a manual transmission equipped car. It has the M10/MN6 Tremec 6-speed manual with the optional Hurst short throw shifter and many more options listed on the window sticker that came with the car. I've just bought this exceptional vehicle two weeks ago from the Chevy Dealership I work for as a mechanic. The car only has 21,980 miles currently. It already has a K&N cold air intake installed as well as a super 10 exhaust kit installed with an engine tune. The older gentleman who owned it previously ordered the car without a sunroof which came as a standard option for the RPO SRM 2SS Model Conversion from the factory. I plan on changing out the K&N wet oil impregnated filter to a dry style of air filter that is interchangeable with the K&N filter which will be a better option for the mass air flow sensor. An oil impregnated air filter such as the K&N can throw a check engine light due to oil from the filter contaminating the MAF sensor. |
