Leveling or without Leveling System? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I am trying to replace the housing on my 2012 Camaro SS and the parts place is asking whether I want Leveling or Non-leveling System. I had never heard of this before. How do I know which I need? Any help would be greatly appreciated. (I fear I am not as car mechanic savy as many of you.) ***(Sorry, as pointed out below...This refers to the HID Headlights.)

My humblest apologies, I am embarassed I forgot to mention what it is...It is for the front headlights which are HID.

im pretty sure you are referring to the allen head screw located in back of the headlight bucket.takes a 6mm allen wrench and you can adjust the headlights on each side up or down independently.its on the end of a stalk in back of the headlight

Quick search says that auto/self leveling was available on some export Camaros.

Check the rpo sticker in the trunk under the carpet on the left. As gtstorey stated it looks like the exports only got the self leveling system.

TR7: Auto headlamp leveling system (european requirement)
TB8: RH Rule of the Road
T94: LH Rule of the road
