Rev Match products

I'm looking for info on current rev match devices. I'd did a search but seemed only old info found. I see the auto-blip is popular but maybe a bit on the crude side for the install.

Any real world experience with available products?

I did three track days and having a hard time heel/toe with these Z28 peddles.

Thank you,

I can't help you on the rev match products, but coming from a BMW M cars (E36 Evo, E46 M3 and E92 M3), I found it initially very difficult to heel and toe in the Z28. I then realized by changing my dainty (I'm a size 11/12) sparco racing shoes to some regular sneakers made a massive difference as the gaps between the pedals are designed for the larger American gentleman!

I have these pedals and it makes a world of difference. My car also came with the auto-blip (not installed) and haven't felt the need to do so.

My auto blip works flawless. Biggest pain was getting under the dash to hook it up. Well worth the messed up back afterwards for a few days though. 👍

I picked up this product late last year, haven't put it in yet.

I have the auto blip - good product!

But it was difficult to install as I had to climb under the dash, etc. Also I think some wire was reversed on the instructions. Overall support was good because I had to call.

I would recommend it. But it would be great if they had a plug and play version.

This is the only mod I've done to my car.
Try this first.
Heel to toe becomes easy.

I bought the auto-blip. I chose it over the xineering unit because I like the ability to change the settings on the fly using the knobs. The xineering one has to be flashed using an Android phone or windows PC over a USB. The zineering was plug and play and also had the capability of setting the TPS% as well as duration and delay. The auto-blip only had duration and delay, but was $140 less shipped. Wiring will prove more difficult, but the savings will outweigh the task.

The auto-blip is definitely popular, but I feel you on the installation. It can be a bit of a hassle. Have you checked out the Tilton pedal box or the Bimmerworld pedal slider? Those are some pretty sick options that might be worth checking out.

I've personally used the Tilton pedal box on my ride, and it's been a game-changer for me. I can hit those revs perfectly every time now. But hey, everyone's got their own preferences, so do some research and see what works best for you.
