Foster sc whine mod

Has anyone here had any experience with one of these? I'm really tempted to buy one to try out with the stock intake before messing with the rotofab. On the videos I've found it's Mainly 5th gens that I can find and it seems super loud, like maybe too loud, lol, if that's a thing. So asking around before I try one out.

Just get a RotoFab and I think you will be happy.

I want to increase whine I'm just afraid the foster mod might be too much. I already have a rotofab and that isn't enough. I want to test it out on a stock intake. In case I don't like it, I can still sell the rotofab without a hole in it for a big gulp when I get tuned in the future. Alot of people say to remove the upper plate in supercharger lid, but I don't want to spend $150 for new bolts gaskets etc, as bolts are a one time use. Is there anyone out there with any experience with this, or should I be the guinea pig? Lol, and yes I tried search

You can remove the sound dampener from under the supercharger lid.

New bolts are not needed for the Supercharger Lid Removal and Install. Supercharger to head- Absolutely use new bolts! You only mess with the ten bolts Supercharger to Head when doing a catch can or other mods.

Torque is 89 Inch Pounds on the Lid Bolts when reassemble. Like others have said, cost effective is to remove the factory lid, remove the underside plate from the lid, reinstall and the whine will improve. Rotofab helps also. I also did an MPI Aftermarket Supercharger Lid and man the Supercharger screams now!

I performed the dampener/lid mod', and it worked a bit. The bigger the CAI, it seemed to me, the greater the whine. There was a difference going from the RF to a BG, IMO, and if that's empirically correct, that's what I'd go with, especially if you're going to tune, later.

Also - I think you put up the video of the ambient lighting install, which was GREAT!!! KUDOS!!!

Rotofab + Billet Lid (pick your favorite brand) I found DSX to be the best value + more RPM via ATI damper and a 9.14" lower... and Voila! 10X more whine, and you will be all smiles

i would just shoot him a message and ask if he has varying levels of whine, like he does for the mustang community. i looked into it also, but never pulled the trigger
