Fuel question
I have ethanol free 93 close by as well as VP race gas. What are you track guys running for fuel. Does higher octane really make a difference? I put 2 gallons of VP 109 to about 15 gallons of 93. It smells nice but I don't know that it makes any difference.

As far as I know our cars are tuned from the factory for 91 octane so unless you have the tune adjusted it's more of a placebo effect BUT if I had access to 93 ethanol free that's what I would run. By the way, nice looking dog!

Thanks. She guards it with her life. I am thinking this car may have been tuned. It's lived a track life before me.

Tuned probably doesn’t mean tuned for octane higher than 93. Would be a rare car that is NA and anything like stock engine tuned for more. Not really any advantage, except maybe in ultra hot conditions.
