GM Releases Rendering of New Sports Car Interior.

From GM Authority. Could it be for a new Camaro?

Yeah, hi-tech design marches on. They had to cut out a large section of the steering wheel so you can see the speedometer...lol...Now that's progress!

Sarcasm is always hard to detect online, so apologies if I just missed it...

That's just a cutaway in the rendering because the angle of the image does obscure the speedometer for the picture. You can tell because the left side has a piece of metal tube sticking out (the wheel core) and the right side has the red ring showing that it's been cut.

That being said - if it WAS real, it wouldn't be the first time a concept had a ridiculous steering wheel shape (how many have had yokes??), but they always revert to something more traditional for production, probably for legality and safety reasons.

I was just thinking to myself that what my car really needs is something to catch my nuts on when getting in and out of my car, and hopefully tear my pants. Thanks, Chevy.

That would have to be a really WIDE Camaro .. compare the width of that center console to current center console ...

It's actually quite close to the Lyriq interior.

BTW, I tried to share this info with the community the other day as well, but my dumbass put it in the wrong forum

LOL! The BMW M4 has some optional seats like that. Can't imagine they are comfortable, for males anyway.
