Will GM's LSX fit?
As the title says, will GM's 7.4L/454 LSX fit in the 5th Gen?
I'm thinking about getting a crate engine and rebuilt transmission to build with my dad over the course of a few years and then drop in the camaro when it's ready. Wondering if the LSX will fit?

From what I've read, the external dimensions of the block seems to be the same, but the LSX block is made from iron and weighs about 100 lb more than the LS3/L99 block.

Not sure about the 454 but I’m hoping to do an aluminum Dart 427 at some point and was told it fits fine.
