Vroom vs carvana

Have a 2021 zl1 with 2500 miles in crush orange and just to see what I could from these sites. Was surprised vroom offered me 69k which is more than sticker but carvana insulted me at $58,500.

That’s a great looking car. Excellent color.

carvana likely sees the writing on the wall that this silliness is going to end at some point and they don't want to be the last person standing without a chair to sit in..

Or they just want to make that much more profit off of the car

I wouldn’t want to be sitting on the huge Camaro inventory that Vroom has accumulated if and when this bubble decides to burst. iMHO it is quite the gamble with their shareholders investments... These are some crazy times!!!!

+1 And it will all come crashing down, overnight. The economy can't sustain this stupidity. My neighbors who had their house built in 2013, just sold it for nearly 30 percent more than they paid for it. This all reminds me of 2008!!!!!

I just did another price quote and I did it once before in the middle of May. I was offered $54k compared to the $55k before. 2018 ZL1, auto with moon roof and exposed carbon fiber insert (I have PDR but that's not a listed option) and with 26k miles right now.

So prices haven't gone up in 2 months. Pretty much the same. Tesla offered $55k, so they're on par with Vroom.

I'm thinking hard about getting rid of my 2019 Silverado since it's worth a few thousand more than what I paid for it to get a 2500 series truck but I haven't found the right used one.
