14/15 rear diffuser opinions needed

This looks like an okay alternative. Quality and figment would be the main concern as with any eBay part. Opinions?

My plan was to go with the Z28 Rear Diffuser. This one doesn't look to bad though. I as well have an Ashen so if you go this route please post pics when you are done as I don't mind the look.

I ordered that and it didn't even come close to fitting on mine, there was a 1/2" gap at the top on either side of the center and the side tabs broke while trying to fit it. I ended up being able to return it.

This is what I ordered...it was less so you may have to search for a better price, but it fit excellent and is very good quality.

Damn mbesman, that fitment looks great. I wish they made a version like this for the pre-refresh cars (2010-2012). I have factory GFX on mine, but I want something that has full wrap around on the sides and with bezeled outlets, but allows use of large quad tips. The only quad tips you can fit on pre-refresh GFX are the tiny stainless works ones. Even round tips have to be 3.5" or less.

Lol I have the ground effects as well, just got lucky on my end. I have seen some people just take the chrome bezels off to fit there giant tips.

Yeah I have seen that, I think Mr2Hard2See did that before he did his refresh rear conversion. It looks ok, but kind of unfinished without the bezels. I just don't know why they made them so damned thick...the bezels get near 2 inches wide in some points.

I found something weird last night after reading this thread. Duraflex (Yeah, I know) makes a replacement rear bumper for the pre-refresh cars that has the 2014-2015 Z28 style rear GFX diffuser. I had to look at the pics a few times to understand what I was seeing because the first pic didn't make sense to me. When I saw the picture I was like 'That is impossible!.' But then I realized it was an entire bumper and not just a diffuser.

Anyhow, I am not really a fan of the look of the Duraflex on the pre-refresh cars as it just doesn't look right with that high of a diffuser, in my opinion. The early cars had the diffuser start below the license plate, not in the middle of it, so it looks weird to me. Maybe if it was painted body color it would look better.

Uhhg...the more I look at it the more I like it. It wasn't my intention to derail your thread with mods not relevant to your model year lol. Sorry.

No! Good discussion!

I like how that looks. But as you know with duraflex the fitment might need tweaking. I would totally rock that on a pre-refresh 5th gen.

My paint guy did for a 150. I installed. Not too hard. There was a little tweaking with the attachment adapters just behind the wheel. I've attached pictures for comparison.
