How long do you plan on keeping your 1LE?
Now that I've had my 1LE for several months, I can definitively say that this is by far the best vehicle I've owned.
As such, I have no intention of selling it any time soon. If relaibility holds, I plan on keeping this car for 10+ years. Question for you guys is simple: how long do you plan on keeping your 1LE? |

Only way I’ll sell mine is if I can swing the ZL1 one day

This is most likely my last car. I do not plan on selling it and hope it keeps rolling 10+ years from now.

Very, very long time, I've never understood how people can just buy and sell cars so frequently.

I’d like to think I’ll enjoy my Camaro for at least 5 years, but I’m honestly not sure how long afterwards I will. It really depends on the long term reliability.

I'd like to say 10 years, but it's kinda unrealistic for me to believe that unless the Camaro becomes a dedicated track setup. Both of my previous cars I had for exactly 5 years each. I now have an ND Miata RF as my daily and my Camaro as the weekend and track car (both bone stock). I'm more likely to keep the Camaro for longer if it's my second car I think. My wife would probably kill me if I start changing a car every 2.5 years..
I don't think I would get rid of the Camaro unless I can afford to either get a used C7 Z06, a lightly used future C8, or my dad's 991.1 GTS (if he upgrades to a GT3). But I doubt I could afford to upgrade to any of those in a few years if I want to keep my Miata. Even if I could purchase a used 991, I doubt I could afford to track it with the Porsche tax! |

Gen 7 Z/28 or a C8 Vette will be the only things I would even consider trading the 1LE for. But if I end up getting PCS’d to Alaska I would probably sell it :(

The plan is to always keep it long but like most people say, we'll see how reliability plays as the car ages.
I've definitely considered getting a M3/5 or C7 GS next but not sure either of those would be "noticeably" better and be worth the cost to upgrade. |

I have a 7yr/70k bumper to bumper warranty, ill re evaluate after that. The only thing that i can think of that would make me want to sell is a mid engine c8.

I've had my other Camaro SS since 2000 but my two boys are growing fast and may not be able to get in and out of the backseat of my daily driver 2017 1LE soon. Might have to look at a GMC Yukon XL Denali in a year or so.

It all depends on what comes next? I would ultimately like a do everything car, summer and winter. So that would be high performance all wheel drive. I'm not quite willing to give up my Camaro yet, but I hate having to store it half the year. Yeah, I could drive it with winter tires on, but my winter tires wouldn't account for the other aresholes on the street that may hit me.
