Suede or Carbon Fiber Dash Pad?

Hi everybody!
I am conducting some science as an assistant to my inventory manager and would like enthusiast owners' opinions.

When looking to purchase your ZL1s, did you have a preference for the suede or carbon fiber dash pads?
If you did have a preference, did you get the one you wanted?

I had originally ordered it and then removed it from my order after finally seeing it. It doesn’t go with anything else in the interior.

I have it. It was on the car already. I would order without. I don’t need all that Jazz. Others like it.

I have the carbon dash. I didn’t really want it, but it goes well with the exposed carbon hood. I will probably add the zl1 1le carbon wing as well.

Carbon Fiber Dash insert is sexy if you have the CF Hiod Insert. Good flow characteristic. The LED lights reflect off of it @ night. I also added a Carbon Fiber insert for the infotainment screen that I bought on E-Bay.

I cant stand anything that will reflect the sun or extra light into my eyes

My car was an early production when the carbon fiber dash pad was on constraint so it came with the suede pad. I later replaced the suede with carbon fiber.

As others have said, the carbon fiber dash pad ties in well if your car also has the carbon fiber hood insert. I've also replaced the steel radiator cover with one made of carbon fiber. Now that I have carbon fiber in multiple places on my ZL1, the carbon fiber on the dash pad doesn't look that out of place.

On a vert I wouldn't want anything concave and shiny anywhere in my field of vision.

Like Hawk, I love Carbon Fiber and will continue to add pieces in interior, engine bay, and exterior.

Bawhahahhaha. Sunglasses are your friend. It does not reflect light. If a light from the LED @ night bugs you then yes. I’m assuming you have window tint

I wanted carbon, but the car had suede.
I had to buy the carbon dash insert after getting the car.

No, its just that hint of sun or street lights from random spots. The previous ride was a 2013 dodge charger... the non srt models have this chrome beauty ring around everything that catches the sun no matter where the car was pointed.

And no window tint... cant stand tint at night.

I added it after purchase. I think it spiffs up a kinda monotone interior nicely.
