Looking for a fun but realistic daily driver

My lease is about to be up on my dodge ram, and I'm searching for a fun yet realistic daily driver. Doesn't have to be fast, but I definalty don't want a Prius. I'm looking in the 30-40k range, any feed would be great. Also over 20mpg at least lol.

Any Telsa owners on the forums? I see I can get a used model S75 for around 50k still warranty.

Unless you're set on electric, look into a used Genesis 2012+ 3.8 or 2013+ 5.0. I daily drive a 2012 4.6L V8. Best value for money on the road.

I have a Tesla p90d, great fun car for daily driving, after a while you will start to miss the exhaust sound but if you are switching around, it’s an amazing car to have in your collection. Did i mention the accerlation of the car?

Want a fun daily driver? Try a Subaru WRX STI,
...
Not my cup of tea aesthetically but they are a ton of fun... and you can mod them to kingdom come!

I like this suggestion, I didn't even think of the Genesis. For what they are, they have power and look sporty!

I looked at the bolt as well, just enjoyed the look of the volt a little better. Both good choices!

Now we're talking, might have to spend just a little more for the P90! A bit more expensive than what I was thinking, but you never know.

Haha I wish, I need decent gas mileage as well. Having to gas hogs would be all bad.

I think the Camaro is a nice daily driver, although maybe not the ZL1 1LE.

Supposedly the 230i is fun but you'd have to stay away from the options list.

You have Nav and a tow hook, what else do you need for a DD?

Aside from decent gas mileage, what else are you looking for? Sedan, Hatchback, truck? Do you need room for cargo, children, camping gear, etc? Do you have any preference for drivetrain layout: FWD, AWD, RWD? How about transmission?

Do you have a preference for country of origin or brand name? How do you plan on using the vehicle?

Lots to answer

Hey I get 27MPG on the freeway with my foot out of it about 20 around town. so about a 23-24mpg avg lol.

If you want to save the trees and have fun, Tesla may be the only way to go.

I am going to slap the dws06 on zl1 and using as DD but I have to say my previous 2SS was actually much better suited at that than ZL1. It was smoother and softer riding with lesss harshness and a more responsive though less powerful engine. I should have kept it, the ZL1 is much faster but had taller gearing so in end it’s a wash; on the street not sure zl1 can press its advantage ...
