Horrid paint chipping @ 2500 miles - pics inside, view at your own risk!

Finally hand-washed my car for the first time, and almost fainted when I saw this paint chipping on my rear fenders. The car has only 2500 miles and no track days. These pictures 100% accurately represent the condition of the paint. It's pretty crazy.

Obviously I am a little irritated, and plan to bring to a dealer to discuss. Has anyone else experienced similar issues?

Yep, in front, see the chip guard? Have to be off the front tires, Live on a gravel road?
Drive in winter, salt?

You need rock guards and paint protection film over rockers/rear quarters for anyone with the stickier/wider tires (1LE/ZL1). The Goodyear F1 Supercar 3 are wider and stickier so it's worse for us: 220 vs 300 treadwear for SS or 560/500 treadwear for LT.

I just finished getting that all taken care of on my ZL1 and will be posting some info this week on it.

In that case it chipped through the vinyl rock guard. Did OP do a rally stage?

I would have expected some rock chips with the big sticky front tires, but after 2000 miles this is unacceptable. Nothing other than ordinary driving and the car is located in CA, so no salty roads.

Yup, mine are thrashed from 1 track day with my 19x10 wheels. I put on the ZL1addon deluxe rockguards last week to hopefully curtail any further chipping in the front of the 1/4 panels. I have a non-1LE

Sticky tires and sand on the road = road rashed paint. Dealer won't warranty this.
