Thumbs down Super Chevy In INDY was HORRIBLE!!!

I am sorry to say that last weekends Super Chevy show was embarrassing.

First I drove an hour to get there, and picked my brother up. (Who at this very moment owns my old 86' Iroc) He wanted to get some parts for the camaro at the swap meet that they always have there. I also got together with a guy at work who just recently purchased an old corvette.

So we are all together and we get to the show. Each one of us forks out 22 dollars to enter. From the entrance (which is at the end of the dragstrip) we begin walking through what would usually be several tents and stands with cool stuff to buy......Nothing!!!!!!

I was beginning to get worried, until we got to the pits and saw some awesome chevys ready to run on the track. so we keep walking around to the other side of the strip where the new products are being sold. I would say that only a quarter of what would usually show up, was there....

I WAS STARTING TO GET ANGRY AT THIS POINT

Then I got to the car show (my favorite part). Only 50 - 60 cars were there.... I then reached the swap meet which is what my brother and my coworker was there for. 10 vendors...

Yeah you read that right, only ten people were selling stuff. It took a whopping 2 minutes to look through it all.

I talked to some of them and by some i mean most, they said it cost them 900 dollars just to be there, advertisement is horrible, the new guy running the show doesn't know what he is doing and had pissed off all the vendors to the point that they didn't even come out to the show.

WTF, is all I could muster saying all the way back to the entrance to DEMAND my money back.

The worst part is that I took my wife with us for her first Super Chevy show. She said she had fun watching the drag racing, but I know she was lying her ass off.

Somebody needs an asskicking.

Wow...thats sucks. I noticed the one in Ennis,TX has been dropped and its called something else now. I went to that one several times and it was great. But I agree, I would have been pissed to if it had been that lame.

Super Chevy came out here in 02 after a 11 yrs of not coming, & just saw alot of us were disappointed. They ended up taking most of the gate money & leaving the track with nothing. Needless to say they were told not to come back.
