2016/2017 Camaro SS Exhaust Aftermarket Sound Comparisons (Start-up, Idle, Rev's)

I am working to build a comprehensive section on YouTube to gather all the current systems offered for the 2016/2017 Camaro SS. All filmed with the same camera and mic at the same location.

This is an on going task, sorry if I am missing a lot of the available systems, but as I can locate a car, I will add it here below so it can be compared side by side. I will also be adding the unique videos for each system and setup as well below.

Exhaust Comparison Overview:

Holly Hookers Black Heart Catback:

Stainless Works Dual Mode with AMF valve delete and Test Pipe:

GM Dual Mode (NPP) with Secondary Cat Delete:

Kooks Long Tube Headers on GM Dual Mode system:

Thanks again! I hate to be a pain, but I am interested in the car with secondary cat delete. Does it just have a cat delete only, or does it have cat delete and a new x pipe? If it has a new x pipe, what kind is it?

I watched all the videos from everyone on YT before hand. Cool to hear them all from the same equipment. Thanks for doing the work. SW was the best to my ear before and after hearing your comparison. SW for the win, Kooks for 2nd.

Nice. Good lawd that Kooks longtube car is obnoxiously loud. I liked the SW and the Hookers cat back the best, but still think the NPP sounds pretty dang good as is.

Really liked the idle of the SW one. That's where I want mine to be louder is at idle.

It has taken longer than I would have liked... But getting there. Simply trying to help anyone who is looking. We spend a lot of money and put faith down on the table praying it will sound just right, hopefully these videos will help other enthusiasts make a better informed decision.

Honestly none of the options sound bad, everyone has their own taste. If performance is what your after, I don;t have an answer for you yet. Working on getting better access to a dyno.
