4-door Camaro anyone??
(I did a search and didn't see this posted)
http://www.autoguide.com/auto-news/2...look-like.html This actually looks better than the coupe. I've never said that before in my life. It's the kick-up at the rear of the rear door window. It's MUCH less severe in this 4 door than it is in the coupe. Plus the rear shoulder line seems to be higher on this sedan than on the coupe. These 2 changes make the design look so much better balanced. And the more I look at it, the more I see the 5th gen green house and not the 6th gen green house. That's why it looks better. Until now, I thought it was just that goofy 1/4 window that was wrong but I can clearly see it might be the whole green house. I think that's why people are saying the 6th looks like a Mustang. GM should look into making the changes we see here in this 4 door to the production coupe

Nope. With the useless back seat, it makes zero sense.
If they did this to the "SS" chassis, and lengthened it to make the back seat more usable, then, still no. Family cars need slightly better visibility. --kC |

I personally haven't heard anyone say the 6th gen looks like a mustang. I also think this looks awful

Definitely a no for me. Want a powerful 4 door car? Get a charger or a Chevy SS. I hate that some people think everyone wishes it had 4 doors and a ton of space. There are plenty of powerful 4 door cars to choose from out there. The camaro is not meant to compete with them.

There is a lot of hatred towards this but I think it is a fantastic idea, just not a 4 door "camaro". The G8 GT/GXP and SS while are GREAT but are way too heavy. Instead of flat out making a camaro 4 door (which really should NOT happen) but alpha platform should be used to make a new "SS". A more affordable ATS-V/CTS-V. 63k for ATS-V (can be 75k) and 81+ for CTS-V (can be 100+) is nuts! So if you want a PERFORMANCE sedan, there isn't a whole lot of choices... I'd pay 50k for an LT1 or LT4 Alpha platform sedan. And I know a lot more people would be interested in that too!

Just say no to 4 doors! IMO The 6th gen is a better looking car than the 5th gen with one exception being the tailights. The 5th gen has more of a retro look, where the 6th gen looks more menacing/evil look in the front.

I'd like it as the next version of the SS or whatever they would call Chevy's next-gen sport sedan.
I would NOT like them to just make the Camaro a 4-door and keep the styling the same. It does check one of the boxes that A LOT of people have been wanting (a sedan on the Alpha platform with an LT1 engine). It could be the car that everyone hoped the ATS-V was going to be (it's still awesome but it would have been more awesome with the LT1).
